IADC Visit to Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy

In November, IADC representatives Mike DuBose, Senior VP – International Development, and Hisham Zebian, VP – Eastern Hemisphere, visited the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA), a technical and academic organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that offers IADC-accredited courses. The visit provided an opportunity for IADC and SADA to discuss industry matters and strengthen the working relationship between these two organizations. During the visit, SADA provided Mike and Hisham with an immersive tour of the academy’s state-of-the-art facility and recent technical innovations.

About SADA

SADA is a technical and academic organization established as a result of the fruitful partnership between Saudi Aramco and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the collaboration of the industry players funding the academy.

Established as a training hub for the drilling and workover industry in the region, SADA embraces a regional, national and international training benchmark in the drilling training industry. It is a non-profit organization managed by an independent board of trustees.
