IADC Southeast Asia Chapter
The Southeast Asia Chapter (SEAC) is registered as a not-for-profit volunteer association with the Registrar of Societies in Singapore. The Chapter exists to serve the oil and gas drilling community consisting of Drilling Contractors, Oilfield Service Companies, Oilfield Supply Companies, and Operator Companies in the operating region commonly referred to as the Southeast Asia; recognized to include Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, East Timor, Laos and Cambodia.
Quarterly meetings and social networking events are typically rotated throughout the region to best accommodate Members who are spread over many countries.

Looking Ahead into 2025: Celebrating 40 Years of IADC SEAC!
The IADC SEAC Leadership Committee remains committed to delivering valuable events and initiatives that help members stay connected in the region, as well as collectively address regionwide challenges.
Looking ahead into 2025, we are thrilled to announce a special milestone celebration of our IADC SEAC’s 40th Anniversary, a momentous occasion shared with IADC’s 85th anniversary!
We’ll celebrate this milestone at the third annual IADC SEAC 2024 Safety Awards Gala Presentation that will be held in Bangkok on the evening of May 14th; following the first day of the IADC HSE & Sustainability Asia Pacific 2025 (AP25) Conference & Exhibition taking place from the 14th-15th May at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel (more details to follow in due time).
Now we have introduced an updated Safety Awards program for 2024 with an expanded focus on initiatives and programs contributing to sustainability. We invite all our valued member companies to showcase their commitment to safety and sustainability by submitting nominations for the various award categories.
The official call for submissions has been announced here. Please refer to the updated IADC SEAC 2024 Safety Awards Guidance & Requirements document for detailed submission guidelines, eligibility criteria, and the specified tables towards preparing for the submission of entries.
