H2S Safe™

The H2S Safe Program is geared towards individuals who have the potential to be exposed to H2S or an H2S environment. The program consists of a core curriculum with an optional add-on supplement. Four (4) classroom hours are required for teaching the H2S Safe curriculum. An additional one (1) classroom hour is required if adding the H2S Safe Plus™ supplement. Course length excludes the knowledge assessment time. Instructor-led training (both in person and virtual) for the initial and repeat delivery of this course is required. Course content incorporates both knowledge and skill demonstration.

  • Office Personnel
  • Visitors (Land Based)
  • Rig Personnel
  • Any personnel that may be exposed to H2S

IADC Certificates of Completion

Everyone who successfully completes an IADC accredited course must be issued a Certificate of Completion. The completion certificate or wallet card may be issued electronically or printed in-house. Certificates may only be issued by training providers whose accreditation is in good standing at the time of the course.

To verify the validity of an IADC Certificate of Completion, you may also send an email to records@iadc.org. Please include a copy of the certificate, if available. If no certificate is available, your request should include the students name and the IADC certificate number.
