IADC and our affiliate members in Latin America held an IADC Workshop in early July with a focus on activities in the region and Accreditation.

Objectives Met During the Workshop:
- Shared industry best practices, including program training and onboarding for new hires in the industry (RigPass) and training in well control from Awareness to Supervisory level through our WellSharp program.
- Supported IADC members and accredited training providers in the region, including the area’s valuable workforce. We have more than 50 accredited companies or members of the IADC in Mexico. IADC, in conjunction with our accredited training providers, is working diligently to improve the competency of the workforce. Our training programs are globally recognized as the industry standard.
- IADC is represented locally by our Latin America Chapter (LATAM). Our Vice President of the LATAM Chapter – Offshore, Mr. Alex Reyna from Valaris, provided an overview of the work of the chapter and other developments in the region.
- Discussed IADC Latin America Chapter’s commitment to the highest values of ethics, continuous improvement, competence, and safety.
