This year, the IADC Supply Chain Committee is launching its first Emerging Talent Series: Insight, Networking, & Mock Interviews event on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, to connect students with industry professionals.
This half-day event, hosted at the IADC Houston facility, is designed to connect junior-level supply chain students with experienced industry professionals in the supply chain field for structured mock interviews and career conversations. Our goal is to bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world industry expectations while strengthening the future talent pipeline for our sector.
We are seeking volunteer interviewers with experience in:
- Sourcing
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Materials Management
- Supply Chain Systems
As a volunteer interviewer, you will:
- Conduct one-on-one mock interviews with junior-level students
- Provide constructive, real-time feedback to help them refine their interview skills
- Share insights into career pathways within land and offshore drilling contractors in the energy sector
- Represent IADC and help shape the next generation of supply chain professionals
This event is intentionally structured to allow meaningful engagement, ensuring each student receives personalized attention and each volunteer has the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Beyond supporting student development, this is a unique opportunity to:
- Influence emerging talent early in their careers
- Strengthen industry-academic partnerships
- Elevate the visibility of supply chain career paths within energy
- Participate in what will become a signature IADC talent development initiative
We anticipate this becoming a bi-annual flagship event for the IADC Supply Chain Committee, and we would be honored to have you help launch it.
