Members of the IADC Latin America Chapter recently met with Mexico’s Undersecretary of Hydrocarbons to discuss key developments in the country’s drilling sector.
During the meeting, the Chapter shared insights on how the drilling industry contributes to Mexico’s economy, highlighted operational challenges faced by both onshore and offshore drilling contractors, and explored emerging technologies available to oil and gas operators in the region.
This dialogue helped strengthen the relationship between Secretaría de Energía and the drilling industry, establishing a collaborative communication channel aimed at advancing Mexico’s hydrocarbons sector.
