IADC Campaign Provides Members with Creative Materials & Messaging to Share Full Impact of Our Industry

IADC has launched a reputational messaging campaign to increase awareness of the critical role drilling plays in meeting global energy demand. For too long, our industry’s story has been shaped by outside entities who don’t fully understand the vital nature of this work. The truth is straightforward: much of what the world needs and relies upon starts with us, the drillers.

This campaign—developed in partnership with TRG, a professional agency—has established a baseline perception assessment, creative assets, and strategic messaging designed to reintroduce the world to the drilling industry, grounded in reality and reason. Like everything at IADC, this campaign was born from the ideas and needs of our Members, and led by them every step of the way.

Now comes the most important part: getting the message out. This is where YOU come in. Members can access the campaign assets through a dedicated online portal and are encouraged to use them as their company sees fit—whether for recruiting, onboarding, leadership communications, website content, or social media. These resources were built for you. Check out the portal, and let us know if there are any additional assets you’d like to see in the future. Or, if you’re interested in having materials branded with your company logo, we will coordinate with TRG to make that happen. We always welcome your questions and feedback.
