IADC’s Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter organized a productive chapter meeting at the beginning of September at the Address Dubai Marina Hotel.

The in-person event was a welcomed break from virtual meetings over the past few months. In anticipation of high attendance, event preparation focused heavily on safety aspects. Additional safety measures were put in place, including wearing masks, social distancing, and hand-sanitizing. Approximately 110 people were in attendance.

Special thanks are owed to Peter Cunnion for his leadership and support the past 3 years as Chairman.  At the September meeting, Mr. Cunnion announced he would not be running for the Chairmanship position in November when chapter elections are held. Also, a very big appreciation to the Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter team: Gareth Burrows, Mike Simpson, William Devoto, and Gary Castell for their constant effort to provide very professional and high-quality gatherings.
