Suez University Student Chapter Gains Interest & Momentum with First Two Events

The IADC Suez University Student Chapter in Suez, Egypt recently hosted its first two events — an inaugural opening party and recruitment drive, followed by the “Second Student Conference of the Faculty of Petroleum & Mining Engineering.” Both events had outstanding attendance and participation.

For the opening party and recruitment drive, students gathered to enjoy entertaining activities, explore a technical exhibition, fill out membership forms, & participate in a technical competition. The students were joined by Dr. Niveen Ali, IADC Suez Faculty Advisor and Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, who shared her insights with the participants.

The Second Student Conference brought together students, academics, and industry professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue, showcase innovative projects, and celebrate student achievements within the field. Many distinguished guests were in attendance, including Suez University President Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed, faculty members, and representatives from leading oil and gas companies in Egypt. The event saw attendance from students across universities in Egypt, fostering a diverse and enriching environment for networking and collaboration.

Great work to all of the IADC Suez University Student Chapter Members who worked hard to organize these fantastic inaugural events and opportunities!
