An initiative to review, update, and translate the WellSharp Drilling Operations test questions has recently been completed. Due to these efforts, the revised WellSharp exam in English was made available in June 2024. WellSharp exams in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Mandarin will be available in mid-October of this year.
This initiative was originally spurred by the IADC Well Control Committee. A workgroup was created to review the WellSharp Drilling Operations Introductory, Driller, and Supervisor level courses. Out of approximately 1,200 questions, around 750 questions were revised, translated, and updated in the database.
