On 12 June, the IADC Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) Student Chapter welcomed delegates from IADC headquarters and the IADC South Central Asia Chapter (SCAC). The delegates visited the Student Chapter at the PDEU campus located in Gandhinagar, which is the capital city of Gujarat in India. Visiting guests included Mr. Mike DuBose (IADC Sr. VP of International Development), Mr. Arun Karle (IADC SCAC Founding Member), Mr. Narender Jindal (IADC SCAC Vice Chairman), and Mr. Gurpreet Sara (joint Secretary).
The visit provided an invaluable platform for Committee Members of the PDEU Student Chapter. They gained crucial industry insights and knowledge directly from the esteemed visiting industry leaders. The discussions served as a guiding light for students, reinforcing their commitment to the chapter’s success.
The leaders emphasized the importance of effective communication in the drilling industry. They encouraged students to ask insightful questions and build connections with professionals to gain a deeper understanding of current trends and challenges.
The PDEU Student Chapter expressed appreciation to the visiting leaders and to the PDEU Department of Petroleum Engineering, as well as Department Head Dr. Uttam K Bhui, for continued support of the Chapter.
