Hisham Zebian, IADC Vice President – Eastern Hemisphere, recently visited the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA) in the Buqayq region. The visit presented an opportunity to meet with the new Managing Director Mr. Faisal Daihani, and discuss ways to increase engagement between the two organizations. SADA is currently accredited for several IADC courses. Four students from SADA will attend the 2022 IADC Middle East Drilling Conference in Dubai this year on the 18th & 19th of October 2022.

About SADA
SADA is a technical and academic organization established as a result of the fruitful partnership between Saudi Aramco and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the collaboration of the industry players funding the academy.
Established as a training hub for the drilling and workover industry in the region, SADA embraces a regional, national and international training benchmark in the drilling training industry. It is a non-profit organization managed by an independent board of trustees.
