IADC Only Accrediting Body in Drilling Industry Continues into 16th Year

IADC continues its tradition of managing high-quality training and accreditation within the drilling industry. Our quality assurance and quality control efforts look for ways to iterate our courses. This will ensure our programs are meeting the standards of the industry and the trainees across the globe. In fact, IADC’s accreditation and credentialing initiatives were recently certified for the 16th straight year with its ISO 9001:2015 certification in quality management system.

IADC’s Accreditation Division has consistently worked to provide quality accreditation programs to the industry.  This has been evidenced once more by IADC’s recent annual ISO 9001:2015 audit.  This is IADC 16th year to hold ISO certification and its 7th consecutive year with zero audit findings.

The ISO auditor was complimentary:

IADC is the poster child for their ISO Quality Management System.  It is hands down one of the best programs I have ever seen.

IADC continues its tradition of managing high-quality training and accreditation within the drilling industry. Vice President-Accreditation Operations, Brooke Polk, shared, “I am thrilled about our audit results and had no doubt that our commitment to excellence, quality, and continuous improvement would be evident in the audit.  Our team constantly looks for ways to improve the service and quality we provide for our members.  We are committed to high quality accreditation programs that are developed by the industry for the industry.

Quality, Consistency, & Transparency in Safety Training

IADC is the only accrediting body in the drilling industry to hold this certification.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). Certified organizations must go through a two-day audit every year to check all procedures, processes, and records are in conformance with the 83 ISO requirements. The annual audit looked at IADC from the top-down, from reviews of top management, quality assurance, organizational resources, or product development.
