Congressman Wesley Hunt Speaks at IADC DrillersPAC Luncheon

On 25 March, IADC’s DrillersPAC organized a luncheon featuring drilling industry champion Congressman Wesley Hunt (R-38-TX). Over 50 people attended the event, which was hosted at Patterson-UTI’s Houston office. Congressman Hunt, who represents the Energy Corridor of Houston in Congress, was very gracious with his time and spent over two hours with DrillersPAC Members at the lunch.

Hunt spoke to the entire group about current events of interest on Capitol Hill and shared his thoughts on the energy sector, recent legislative actions, and the 2024 elections. He then opened the floor for questions from the audience; he also mixed and mingled with attendees and took individual pictures with them.

At the end of the lunch, DrillersPAC presented Congressman Hunt with a check to assist him in his re-election efforts. Due to the success of this lunch, we hope to have more DrillersPAC lunches with Members of Congress in the future!

DrillersPAC is supported entirely by the contributions of drilling and service industry executives and employees who recognize the importance of competing in the political arena. DrillersPAC provides the perfect opportunity for you to join many of your colleagues in taking a personal stake in the industry’s success.

About DrillersPAC

DrillersPAC is a nonpartisan political action committee (PAC). It is registered with the US Federal Election Commission (FEC) and allows drilling, oil, and gas industry executives and employees to pool personal, voluntary financial contributions. The contributions are used to support candidates seeking elective office at the federal, state, and local level who are proponents of issues important to our members. IADC organized the PAC to financially support candidates for elective office who, regardless of political party affiliation, understand the interests and concerns of the drilling industry. Ultimately, we want to help elect individuals who understand our industry and are responsive to our business concerns.
