National Green Hydrogen Competition
The IADC University of Boumerdes Student Chapter recently participated in the National Green Hydrogen Competition, organized by the University of Boumerdes. Competing among 27 teams nationwide, the IADC team won 4th place!
The IADC Boumerdes Student Chapter’s project focused on the upstream industry, emphasizing the role of green hydrogen in driving innovation and supporting the energy transition. This competition provided a valuable platform to present the students’ work, exchange knowledge, and explore sustainable solutions within the oil and gas sector.
5 Million Trees for Algeria Initiative
The IADC University of Boumerdes Student Chapter recently participated in the national initiative “5 Million Plants.” Members actively participated in this planting day, contributing to environmental protection and promoting a culture of sustainability and responsibility. The students spent the day engaging in this impactful initiative and giving back to the community.
Top 10 Startups in Algeria
The IADC University of Boumerdes Student Chapter was recently ranked among the Top 10 Startups in Algeria, which represents an important recognition of the Chapter’s innovation and impact at the national level. This recognition came from a competition by the National Student Renewal Alliance (AREN), bringing together teams from all across Algeria, representing different universities and fields of science and technology.
The IADC team’s project focused on developing a Digital Twin solution for petroleum equipment, aiming to enhance monitoring, performance optimization, and predictive maintenance in the oil and gas sector. They started with a small prototype specifically designed for drilling equipment, as an initial step toward building a scalable and industry-ready solution.
