On Thursday 19 February, IADC’s political action committee, DrillersPAC, held a Texas Congressional Candidate Forum in the Houston office’s main conference room featuring contenders for two open US House of Representatives seats in Texas. Candidates from District 8, Nick Tran and Deddrick Wilmer, and District 38, Shelly deZevallos and Barrett McNabb, shared their perspectives on issues that matter the most to citizens of these Houston area districts, as well as their views of the drilling industry.
Over 20 IADC Members heard directly from the candidates and asked questions to gain insights on where these candidates stood. The forum included a speaking and moderated Q&A session followed by a networking reception with the candidates and fellow attendees.
