On 27 May, NOPSEMA, the Australian regulator, released it’s Annual Offshore Performance Report. The document provides a summary of the safety and environmental performance of Australia’s offshore oil and gas industry for 2018. During 2018, NOPSEMA was pleased that industry largely maintained its performance, particularly with regard to protecting workers and the environment. Most importantly, for the sixth consecutive year, there were no fatalities.
