KFUPM Student Chapter Organizes Exclusive Visit to ADES

On 17th February 2026, the IADC KFUPM Student Chapter proudly organized an exclusive visit to the ADES facility for the KFUPM College of Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences students and researchers, creating a valuable platform to connect academic knowledge with real world industry practices. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to operational excellence, leadership perspectives, safety culture, and advanced technological applications shaping today’s energy sector.

The visit began with welcoming remarks by Mr. Bilal Mazloom. The Student Chapter sincerely thanks him for his excellent coordination and communication, which made the visit seamless and impactful. The Safety Moment by Mrs. Lina Abboud (L&D Lead) further reinforced the strong safety culture that drives successful operations

A powerful Leadership Message by Mr. Kolbjorn Kanebog (Vice President of Operations) followed, where he shared valuable perspectives on leadership and operational vision—truly inspiring for students aspiring to grow in this industry.

The Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers—Ms. Jodie Ransley, Mr. Mahmoud Youssef, Mr. Khaled Abdullah, Mr. Ahmed Refaat, Mr. Mohamed Kewan, Mr. Ranjith Karthrusseril, and Mr. Mosab Osamafor generously sharing their knowledge and experience for the betterment and inspiration of the students.

The Panel Discussion, moderated by Ms. Sara Al Khalaf (Senior Logistics Specialist), was one of the highlights of the day. The Chapter extends its sincere thanks to the distinguished panel guests:

The visit concluded with an outstanding AI-Powered Operation Command Center Tour Experience, giving students exposure to advanced digital transformation and AI-driven operational monitoring. It was truly an eye opening experience.
