Young Professionals Gather for IADC’s First YP Summit

On 1 August, over 150 attendees gathered from around the Houston area for IADC’s first Young Professionals Summit, hosted by the IADC Young Professionals Committee. The full-day event was held at Transocean’s offices and consisted of presentations and panels from a variety of industry leaders. The keynote presentation was delivered by Jason Gahr with ExxonMobil. 

Presentations covered a range of personal and professional development topics, including:

  • Stand & Deliver: Perfecting your Presentation Skills
  • Field Perspective
  • Bridging Generational Gaps
  • The Archetype of a Career in Oil & Gas

  • Planning for the Future of Oilfield Services

The event provided optimal networking opportunities for attendees, including a post-event happy hour at a nearby venue.
