Houston ( 27 January 2017) – The International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) recently launched Drilling Matters, a new multimedia website that aims to inform, educate and dispel misconceptions about the oil and gas industry.
“We began developing Drilling Matters in 2015, after we sensed a void in educational resources targeted for people who have little knowledge of the oil and gas industry,” said Mike Killalea, IADC Group Vice President/Publisher. “With help from many industry partners, the resulting multimedia website provides an in-depth and well-rounded look at the oil and gas industry.”
The Drilling Matters website is divided into three sections:
“During the development of Drilling Matters, it was important to us that each of the sections contain language and explanations that are easy to understand for anyone who visits the website. Members of the public, legislators, regulators and members of the industry are equally able to find value in the information presented in Drilling Matters.”
New content will be added to Drilling Matters over the next several months to augment the existing information.
