IADC

Please join us on 9 May for the Advanced Rig Technology (ART) Committee meeting. Dr. Matthew Henderson with Occam’s Technologies will be our featured speaker. He will be talking about CO2 capture for point source diesel engine emissions. The team at Occam’s has raised $2 million in grant funding to build and demonstrate the technology at scale on a Precision Drilling rig. The technology under development combines processes developed for diesel engine submarine applications with exhaust cooling and refrigeration to produce liquid CO2 as a pure final product. It is expected to quickly bolt-on to existing diesel engines with minimal invasion and integrate directly into Precision’s electrical grids.

The hybrid event will be both in-person at IADC HQ, 3657 Briarpark Dr, Ste 200 in Houston, and virtually using Zoom.
